Celebrating Community: Pastries with Grandparents
A collage of the many grandparents and their stallions enjoying out Pastries with Grandparents event!

Celebrating the family members and caregivers who support our students outside of school is one of the most rewarding parts of our school year. Learning doesn't stop when the bell rings at the end of the day, and our community's strength relies heavily on the dedicated adults who encourage, guide, and cheer on our students at home.

To honor these essential relationships, our school hosted Pastries with Grandparents outside on the school grounds, bringing generations together under the open sky for a beautiful morning of sweet treats and meaningful connection. Students beamed with pride as they and their grandparents and grand-friends shared breakfast together in the fresh morning air.

The outdoor gathering featured a delicious spread of fresh pastries, fruit, juice, and hot coffee served at picnic tables. More importantly, it offered a warm, welcoming space for families to connect, meet other school families, and build memories that extend far beyond the classroom.

Events like Pastries with Grandparents highlight our belief that educating a child is a collaborative effort. We are profoundly grateful for the grandparents and mentors who read with our students, drive them to after-school activities, and instill the values that help them thrive. Thank you to everyone who joined us outside and helped make the morning so memorable!
