Marching Toward Success: A Celebration of Progress and Legacy at the Growth Parade!
The hallways were filled with cheers, high-fives, and immense pride this week as we hosted our annual Growth Parade! This special event gave our entire school community a chance to step back and celebrate the incredible strides our students and staff have made throughout the school year.
From academic milestones to personal triumphs, the energy was electric as we honored hard work, resilience, and dedication.
Celebrating Every Step Forward
The Growth Parade was all about recognizing that progress looks different for everyone, and every single victory deserves the spotlight. Students proudly marched and cheered for achievements big and small, including:
- Mastering New Skills: From learning a new reading strategy to conquering a tough math concept or artistic technique.
- MAP Test Milestones: Celebrating students who smashed their personal goals and showed amazing point growth on their MAP assessments.
- Personal Goals: Honoring the daily dedication it takes to build better habits and stronger problem-solving skills.
Honoring Decades of Dedication
While we looked forward to our students' bright futures, we also took an emotional moment to look back and honor some of the pillars of our school community. This year’s parade included a special tribute to our moving and retiring staff members.
Together, these incredible educators and staff members have committed nearly 70 years of combined service to our school.
Their dedication, love, and tireless work have shaped countless lives and left an indelible mark on our hallways. While we are sad to see them go, we are boundlessly grateful for the legacy of excellence they leave behind.
